3- Educational initiatives that promote education in Rwanda

Educational initiatives that promote education in Rwanda. Prof. Aimable Twagilimana who is an education expert for US Rwandan Diaspora (USRD) is also a board member of the Educators' Institute for Human Rights, an organization that supports secondary education teachers in Rwanda in teaching about the Holocaust and the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The training usually takes place at the end of July every year (at the Gisozi Genocide Memorial). Prof. Twagilimana was responsible for the recruitment of the first group of teachers in 2011, and these have become the backbone of the organization in Rwanda....
